Fellow friends and watchers, I have decided to make prints of my baby girl Yuki available. For the moment they will be simple photo prints but if anyone would like the current soon-to-be prints and future prints to be in mouse pad, magnet, and mug form please let me know, your feedback matters. I do hope that my little Yuki will bring you enjoyment ^_^.

Should all remember my last journal about the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster and the upcoming HBO mini series. A few clips have come out and they are intense. I present you three of them The Reactor core meltdown The first respond firefighters. And the Graphite cleanup on the roof. Note in the firefighter clip, the black "block" that was picked up is the graphite that was used to cool the reactor core. It was a cheaper and more dangerous method for coolant compared to using water. May the brave men who fell victim to this tragedy be remembered and rest in peace. God bless their courage.

Today marks the day after an event. An event that happened 33 years ago in the Ukraine. At 1:23 AM in the city of Pripyat reactor No.4 of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded, causing a fire that lasted until May 11 and exposing the raw core of the reactor, releasing huge amounts of radiation. Over a 134 servicemen suffered from acute radiation syndrome out of which 28 firemen died from the exposure. This event is one of the worst man made nuclear disasters ever, compared now with the recent accident of the Fukushima Daiichi back in 2011.
